Brad making all of us breakfast on Christmas morning. I have NEVER seen this side of Brad before! It was a very yummy meal...blueberry pancakes and bacon. VERY Tasty!
Some of the first snow of the season on Christmas Eve.
Gracie playing with her new kitchen that Santa brought for her.
Cookies for Santa. Mopsy swiped them when we left the room.
Gracie making reindeer food to leave outside on the lawn. A lot of oats and a little glitter is all you need.
Gracie Noodle and Paze in their Christmas Jammies. They wouldn't sit still!
The "Tree" this year. I always hate it when we open the presents and their is nothing left under it. It seems so bare!
Paze eating a few rice crispies...she sat in that spot eating off and on most of the evening.
Gracie and Alyssa sitting by the elf and Santa at Mc D's. It was so great to see the Evan's. We miss them so much!
Beautiful Becky and Adorable Alyssa.
Tracy and Nate catching up. It had been a whole year since they had seen each other!
This is Gracie's letter to Santa. This is what she told me to write to him...word for word.
Gracie and Mom made this gingerbread house that Aunt Holli brought. It was so fun and yummy. Gracie is wearing her very favorite shirt...which is also her cheapest shirt. It was clearance in the boys section at Walmart. Gracie still asks to wear it daily. So she may be wearing Rudolph well into the new year.
This year the holidays seem to have flown by in a big blur. Once again I got a new camera because mine was ruined so I got a new one and haven't yet learned to use it, so most of the pictures aren't all that wonderful. We DID have a wonderful time though. We enjoyed some much needed time with family and friends. Gracie was so excited to whole month and asked almost daily if it was christmas. She also told me almost every day that she heard Santa on the roof. Several times she lined up her babies in the window to watch for Santa. She told me that they were going to watch for her and tell her when Santa came.
A couple of days before Christmas, we met up with Nate, Becky and fam at a McD's midway between Columbus and Akron. This has become a yearly tradition where we let the kids play their hearts out and we get a nice LONG visit, eat greasy food, and enjoy some yummy holiday treats. We had lots of good laughs.
The same evening Brad, Holli, Paze and Finny showed up very late. We spent the holidays letting the girls play and getting acquainted with sweet Finny. She is a beautiful baby. Sadly, I don't have any pictures that turned out of Finlee and almost none of Paze and Gracie, but they really enjoyed being together for the holidays.
On Christmas Eve we made cookies and other treats and Gracie and Paze put them out for Santa. They also made reindeer food and sprinkled it on the lawn for the reindeer to feast on when they came. Right before Paze went to bed they read "The Night Before Christmas" together....sort of. One or the other little girl was wandering or talking throughout the story. Then Paze went to bed and Gracie and I read "The Nativity". Such a nice quiet Christmas Eve. After the kids were in bed some elves we will just call Big T and Big B worked on finishing Gracies kitchen. I think it took 3 hours and a little bit of complaining to finish. (Later when Gracie asked me which elf made her kitchen I told her it was the cranky elf)
Christmas day was a whirlwind of food, presents and play. It all went by so fast and we just watched as Gracie took it all in!
Hope all your holidays were as blessed as ours!
