Somehow in all the rush to prepare for Christmas we had forgotten to take some time to enjoy many of the great holiday activities that we can do leading up to Christmas. We have had some holiday parties planned, but Gracie has been sick a few times from Thanksgiving on so we have missed out on some holiday celebrations including work parties and our ward party. So...it was great when our friends Heidi, Maddy, and Savannah invited Gracie and I over to make holiday cookies. Gracie loved eating and playing with the dough as did Savannah. Maddy was very artistic and made so many types of cookies...and then remade them and remade them.... It was so much fun and Gracie and Savannah had a great time chasing each other and trying to ruin Heidi's Nativity Set. Sorry Heidi! (Those two are trouble together) The girls also enjoyed singing such holiday classics as "Oh Christmas Tree" (Does anyone know all the words to that song?) and "Silent Night". Gracie said "again..again...everytime we finished a song.

Don't worry about the nativity. It all glued back together fine. I'll just have to keep it under tighter surveillance when the two hooligans are running around!
