Today Gracie, Mopsy and I spent the morning playing in the yard. Tracy had cleaned up loads of dead leaves over the weekend and it was nice and warm so we went out to enjoy a beautiful day.
Pretty soon, Gracie started picking up tiny star shaped leaves and began singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (which sounded like "twinka twinka weedo sar") and twirling them in her hands while she held them up to the sun. It was just one of those moments when you realize how really beautiful and simple things are in the eyes of a sweet little girl. We spent a good hour singing and picking up big and small "stars" for Grace to play with. What a good morning...
