The first month

These few pictures represent some of the moments we have had with baby Cate this past month.  It has been a wonderful/crazy month.  Gracie adores Cate...BUT...she is extremely jealous! It has been a little rough for her adjusting to sharing mom and dad's attention and we have tried REALLY hard to be sensitive to her feelings without letting her walk all over us :).  She even asked me one day if we could sent Cate back to heaven.  Gracie wants to be in on any and everything that we do with Cate. 

 

 We had our first family outing with Cate and went apple picking at Lynd Farms. Grace has had so much change with new baby and this was her wish that she go apple picking with the family and make fall treats.  She spent hours before hand pouring over holiday cookbooks and decided that we needed to make caramel apples, of course...along with brownie graveyards/pumpkin patches and peanut butter witch hats. So after apple picking we spent one on one time while the baby and Dad napped and made tons of treats!  I included a picture of some of her brownie graveyards/pumpkin patches. 

 

We blessed baby Cate when she was two weeks old and she wore a gorgeous dress that her Aunt Julie made.  She looked beautiful and we were blessed to have Oma and Opa with us for the blessing and for a visit around the same time. 

 

So many family and friends have shown so much support for all of us and we are so grateful right now for the love, meals, presents, photos, support, and friendship.  It makes this special time in our lives that much more special.
